If you have not heard of them before HVN & ERTH is a very special Christian worship collective formed by young adults in Los Angeles California. They bring together completely different musical styles like gospel pop R&B and jazz to create a fresh sound for the modern church.

I was so amazed to learn they are just college students using their diverse gifts to honor God and build up the community. It honestly warms my heart to see the next generation stepping up to share faith through their talents. They are quickly becoming a favorite for people looking for deep acoustic Christian music.

The original version of This Is How I Thank The Lord was written by Mosaic MSC members Andres Figueroa Mariah Goss and Robert Aholoka. It was officially released in 2022 on their popular album of the same name. They actually wrote this piece right in the middle of the global pandemic when everyone was isolated and afraid.

They discovered that when the whole world feels uncertain, gratitude is exactly what we need to get through the day. The message of the song reminds us that we can never truly repay God for His endless grace but we can always offer our praise. It teaches us that even when life gets terribly hard, we can lift our voices and thank Him for holding us together. I find that simple truth so incredibly comforting.
