Jesus Christ, who lives forever and reigns over the entire universe, is our Lord and Savior. By the power of His endless life, He continues to serve as our High Priest. He stands before God and intercedes on our behalf.
In the Old Testament, all the blessings of Israel were tied to their high priest, who was given by God for the benefit of the people. But Jesus is the true and greater High Priest, after the order of Melchizedek, and His priesthood is eternal.
Because of Him, we are forever blessed and favored in the sight of God.
This is the good news one needs to know, that He died and resurrected for our justification and stands before God for our benefit! And because He lives, we can live a fearless life and we must believe that He holds our future and our life is worth the living!
