Calvin Nowell, a gifted singer, performs a soulful medley of three beautiful worship songs: ‘If Not For Grace,’ ‘Just As I Am,’ and ‘I Wanna Be More Like You.’
Calvin’s voice was filled with emotion as he sang the lyrics of each song, creating a connection with those listening. He expressed his own journey through his music, sharing, “To be honest, I have serviced careers of others more than I have done for myself. My prayer is that I NO longer bury my gifts any longer. This video is a start to unlocking my own potential in all its imperfections.”
The medley featured three impactful worship songs that address themes of grace, acceptance, and the aspiration to be more like Jesus.
‘If Not For Grace,’ originally by Clint Brown, reflects on God’s unconditional love and grace in times of hopelessness. The lyrics convey the message that, without God’s grace, we would be lost and empty.

‘Just As I Am,’ penned by Charlotte Elliott, is a hymn of surrender and acceptance. The words speaks of coming to God with all our imperfections and finding acceptance in Him.

‘I Wanna Be More Like You,’ also by Clint Brown, is a prayerful song expressing a longing to be more like Jesus and be used as a vessel for His purpose. In the lyrics, the singer expresses a desire to be molded and used by Jesus for His glory.
