Montana Brown was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer when she was just two years old. She underwent chemotherapy at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Cancer Center. By the time she reached high school, Montana’s family got the shocking news that their brave 15-year-old girl had cancer again. She underwent chemotherapy at CHOA again. After the encounters with nurses as a toddler, Montana fell in love with the profession. As she grew up, she knew nursing was her calling. Montana achieved her dream to become a pediatric nurse and she started working at the same hospital that saved her life.
