The wonderful story started at Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center in Texas. Vet technician Erin Dryden adopted Ursula at birth and brings her pet lamb to work each day.

Shelter director Chris Kemper was walking through the building when he saw something amazing. Ursula was skipping down the surgery hallway next to lead animal care technician Nina Allen, her little hooves dancing with excitement.

“She’s like a puppy, but she gets excited and she starts jumping,” Kemper said. He grabbed his phone and recorded the precious moment. Then he added disco music to the video and posted it online.

The video spread across the internet fast. The team thought it would just make a few people laugh. “Our thought was, ‘Let’s just post this. It will make some people laugh, and it keeps us in the Facebook cycle until the next morning,'” Allen explained.

Local news station KLTV asked for permission to share the video. Soon Gray Television showed Ursula to people nationwide. The shelter’s Facebook page got thousands of new visitors from all over America.
