A Call That Became a Calling
In 2023, Britanie Bratcher was working a case in South Carolina when she met a little girl who needed a guardian. Most people would have finished their shift and gone home. Bratcher couldn’t do that.
She felt a pull on her heart that she couldn’t ignore. She decided right then to step into a role that went way beyond her badge.
The Long Road to the Adoption
The path wasn’t easy. There were legal hurdles and plenty of paperwork. Bratcher didn’t give up during the hard months of waiting. She stayed patient and focused on the goal of providing a “forever home” where this child would never have to worry again.
On January 12, 2026, the wait finally ended. The adoption was finalized in a courtroom filled with smiles and emotional moments.
