A hilarious video shows two dogs trying everything they can think of to get back inside their home.
We all know what it feels like when we knock on doors and nobody answers. Maybe you’ve stood outside your own house, waiting for someone to let you in. We ring the doorbell, try calling them, and when nothing works, we get frustrated.
These two dogs went through the same situation, but the way they handled it made people smile.
The video starts with one dog pressing the doorbell to get in while his friend stands right beside him. Nobody comes to the door.
The first dog gets frustrated and starts knocking with his paws. When that doesn’t work, his buddy jumps in and knocks even harder.
The smart pair goes back to ringing the doorbell over and over. They try everything they can think of to get their family’s attention. But nothing works. The door stays closed.
Finally, the tired dogs give up for the night. They curl up right there on the doorstep and fall asleep. Even while they sleep, you can see how much they love each other.
One dog puts his head on the other one. They stay together through the long, cold night.
When morning comes, a rooster crows and wakes them up. Then something amazing happens. The doorbell rings, and this time it means their mom is home.
The dog immediately tries the doorbell again. This time the door opens wide, and both dogs rush inside to their family.
These faithful dogs never stopped believing they would get home. They waited all night because they knew someone who loved them lived behind that door.
Their story reminds us that God sees our faithful waiting too. He knows when we feel left outside, and He always opens the door at exactly the right moment.
