They are not called man’s best friends without a reason, dogs truly are a lifesaver. A dog named Clover has been called a ‘hero’ in Canada after she saved her owner’s life.
Haley Moore was out strolling with her dog when she suddenly experienced a seizure and fell to the curb.
Moore was strolling through the Stittsville neighborhood of Ottawa on Tuesday when the incident happened that was captured by a neighbor’s home security camera.
Clover, a year-and-a-half-old Maremma mix, immediately sprung into action after loosening herself from her leash and stood in the middle of the street and stopped traffic.
Dryden Oatway who was driving along the road when he was stopped by Clover, said, “It was really impressive, the dog actually blocked my way. She kind of backed into the road to block my truck.”
Clover stopped another driver and then returned home. “All I remember is waking up in the ambulance and being really confused, just like, ‘What is going on?’” Moore recalled in an interview.
Her dad, Randall Moore, said, that Clover was given a delicious treat of steaks as a reward. She deserves this and more for her faithful service to the family.
