A touching rendition of gospel song, ‘Lord I Want To Go To Heaven,’ by a father an daughter duo, is winning may hearts online.
Angie Sutherland and her daddy are singing the song with a tinge of sadness.
Her father has stage 4 cancer.
Angie and her dad are leaning on the Lord on this hard time as they are shown sitting on the porch and singing the lyrics of this iconic hymn.
Angie’s dad thanks all those who have been praying for him, and declares that God is in control and also mentions about the numerous messages of hope and faith he has received.
They are singing ‘Lord I Want To Go To Heaven’ and it is very beautiful.
The most touching part is when Angie uses this opportunity to speak about her dad’s battle with cancer and about the healing power of Jesus.
She says, “Daddy is in much need of prayer. I watch his frail little body as he carries his guitar out to the porch to sing these songs, and I realize how blessed I am to be able to have this sweet precious man sitting by my side. I cherish every day. We know that we serve a mighty God. We love and appreciate you all and God bless each and every one of you.”
We are so moved by this daughter’s words, and we will pray for this family so that God grants them the healing and perfect peace.
Thank you heavenly Father that you are comforting this family who continue to show the light of your son Jesus Christ! Thank you Father that you are restoring health into Mr Sutherland during his trial with Cancer. Thank you that he is invisible to the enemy, Cancer and that you are there with him during this trial. Father thank you that you are providing comfort and grace to his family and friends who are reminded of your majestic glories. We pray this in Jesus’s name…AMEN!
