BYU Noteworthy, an all-female a cappella group performs a powerful cover of the worship song ‘Goodness of God.’
‘Goodness of God,’ written by Ed Cash, Ben Fielding, Jason Ingram, Brian Johnson and Jenn Johnson in 2019, has become a modern worship anthem that speaks about God’s unfailing love and faithfulness through life’s seasons. The song emerged from Bethel Music and quickly found its place in churches worldwide.
BYU Noteworthy, one of the premier performing groups at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, stands among the nation’s top collegiate a cappella ensembles. The nine-member group earned widespread recognition for their vocal excellence and heartfelt performances.
The group’s performance shows how voices alone can create music that moves the soul. Each singer adds her unique sound to build gentle moments that grow into powerful praise.
Without any instruments, their voices weave together to create rich harmonies that both traditional church-goers and modern worship lovers can enjoy. These young women show us how musical talent becomes a gift when used to honor God.
When I watch these young women use their voices to praise God, it reminds me that He gives each of us special gifts to share His love with others. Their music shows us how God’s goodness flows through our lives every day.
Maybe you sing, write, teach, or encourage others – whatever gift God has given you can become your own song of praise. Let’s follow their example and use our talents to tell others about God’s faithful love in our lives.
