John Mayer Opens New Zealand Tour With ‘How Great Thou Art’ In Heartfelt Tribute To Christchurch Shooting Victims

Love is always above hatred and triumphs over it in every way and one singing superstar decided to show some love to the people of New Zealand while on tour.

We are all praying for the people of New Zealand and can feel their pain as they suffered a horrible terror attack on March 15, 2019.

So, John Mayer who is on tour of New Zealand and Asia, began his concert at Auckland, New Zealand just one week of the shootings and decided to show some love to them by singing the hymn, “How Great Thou Art.”

He was also joined by New Zealand artist Bella Kalolo, who sang parts in te reo — a Polynesian language spoken by the indigenous people of New Zealand, the Māori.

The Bible tells us to ‘weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice’ in Romans 12:15,  this is an act against mankind and is a product of hatred, we must stand by each other, and fight hate with love.

Verse of the Day

“But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.”
