A brother and sister from the group Life in 3D just shared their cover of Lauren Daigle’s ‘The Light of the World,’ and it’s absolutely beautiful.
In this video, Daura sings with one of her brothers. The two of them sound wonderful together. Life in 3D is made up of three siblings—Daylon, Daura, and Devon. They’re using the talents God gave them to bring hope and encouragement to people through music.
Their story started in December 2021 when they got their first microphone. None of them had any experience with recording or arranging music. They just started learning as they went.
They figured out how to create three-part harmonies. They learned how to use a camera to record their songs. Everything was done at home with simple equipment.
At first, they made these videos just for family and friends. But then something unexpected happened. More and more people started listening. Now over 1 million people follow their music. The siblings never imagined their songs would reach so many.
Their parents are the ones who first encouraged them to use their voices to encourage others. And that encouragement made all the difference.
The siblings say that making music together brought them closer in every part of their lives. “It became more than just our harmonies,” they explain. “It encompassed the way we interacted with each other—the way we laughed, argued, and even cleaned the kitchen together.”
