13-Year-Old Sings Moving Rendition of ‘The Prayer’

13-year-old Luca Brugnolia from Italy touched hearts with his beautiful version of ‘The Prayer.’

‘The Prayer’ was written by David Foster, Carole Bayer Sager, Alberto Testa, and Tony Renis in 1999. The song became popular after the duet performance of Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.

The lyrics talk about asking God to watch over the people we love and guide them through difficult times.

Luca created a music video that tells an amazing story. The video starts with sweet clips of two babies. Then we see a father holding hands with his young son.

After that, Luca appears in a dark corner of a concrete building. He walks down some stairs while he starts to sing.

The video shows Luca as two different people. First, he plays a poor street musician wearing ragged clothes. He sits with his guitar like a beggar while people walk past him. He shares his love for music even though he has nothing.

Later in the video, he becomes a wealthy young man dressed in a nice suit vest. He walks through an elegant place and plays piano in a fancy studio.

This creative story shows us something beautiful. It does not matter if we are rich or poor. God hears every prayer we send to Him.

The young singer switches between singing in Italian and English. His voice stays pure and strong throughout the whole song.

People who watched the video were deeply moved. One person wrote, “Truly this young man is a gift to the World from God. I hope to hear more from him.”

Another person said, “An exceptionally pure voice. Your talent can take you far in life, young man. Truly a gift from God.”
