The sweet little boy in the video is Nicholas Protsenko. He comes from a very gifted family of street performers who share music on city sidewalks. You might already know his big sister Karolina who plays the violin so beautifully for crowds around the world. Growing up surrounded by music and love at home Nicholas naturally picked up an interest in singing and playing instruments at a very tender age.

He chose to sing Hallelujah which was originally written back in 1984 by the famous songwriter Leonard Cohen. Over the years so many artists have recorded this song.

From a Christian perspective, the song reminds us about the sweet blessings and the difficult trials in our lives. Even when we stumble or feel broken in our faith, we can still lift up our voices to praise the Lord. That simple word hallelujah means praise ye the Lord and it connects all of us together in our quiet moments of need.

Let us sing Hallelujah to the Almighty God as He deserves all the glory.
