4-year-old Nicholas Protsenko stopped people in their tracks with his adorable street performance of ‘You Raise Me Up.’
You know how sometimes God surprises us through children? We see it happen when little ones say something wise or show talents that take our breath away.
Nicholas reminded everyone walking by that day that God places special gifts in the most unexpected packages.
The little boy sat at his piano on that busy street and began to sing. His voice was clear and beautiful.
People walking by stopped and watched this tiny child pour his heart into the song. Many pulled out their phones to record his performance.
‘You Raise Me Up’ was written by Rolf Løvland and Brendan Graham in 2002. The powerful words talk about finding strength when we feel weak. They remind us that God lifts us up when we cannot stand on our own.
This sweet boy shows us that God can use anyone to bring joy to others. Age does not matter to God. Nicholas used his gifts to make people stop and smile on what was probably just another ordinary day.
We can all learn from this little one about sharing what God has given us.
