BYU Noteworthy is an a cappella group based in Provo, Utah, consists of nine female Brigham Young University (BYU) students.

The group members have a varied repertoire of pop, rock, jazz, hip-hop and spiritual genres, and in 2007, they were crowned champion of the prestigious International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA).

They had famously appeared on the first season of NBC’s a cappella competition reality show The Sing-Off in 2009.

Today as this powerhouse acapella group sing the popular worship song, ‘Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)’ we are blown away with their performance.

The group are performing near the water with freezing temperatures and yet they are all smiling and singing and seem least bothered by the weather.

May we also learn to praise and worship our savior in situations that seem difficult because He has promised to be with us in the fire and the flood.

Verse of the Day

“And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet: ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’ ””

Matthew 2:4-6
