A group of young singers from Hawaii just delivered a version of ‘You Raise Me Up’ that honestly stops you in your tracks.

‘You Raise Me Up’ was written by Brendan Graham and Rolf Løvland of the Irish-Norwegian duo Secret Garden back in 2002. Then Josh Groban recorded it in 2003 and it became one of the most recognized songs in the world.
The whole message of the song is about how we are weak on our own but when God steps in, he lifts us to places we could never reach by ourselves. That is a truth we never outgrow no matter how old we get.
The Ohana Arts Vocal Ensemble is a choir made up of singers between 11 and 18 years old. They launched in Fall 2025 and are sponsored by University Health Alliance.
What gets me about this performance is how genuine it feels. These are teenagers. They could be doing anything else with their time but they chose to come together and sing about faith and hope and the power of God. May God use them more and more for His glory.
