French musician Loris Assadian, known by his stage name Plumes, sat inside a tiger enclosure and performed ‘Tears in Heaven’ on guitar and the big cat’s reaction has the whole internet talking.

We all know that feeling when a song comes on and you just stop everything. The worries kind of fade out and for a few minutes nothing else matters. But if you think that kind of feeling is only something we humans experience, then you need to watch this video.
The video opens with Plumes sitting calmly inside the enclosure strumming ‘Tears in Heaven’ while a tiger roams nearby. Most of us would not last five seconds in that situation. But this person just keeps playing, totally focused, like it’s any other afternoon.
The tiger starts moving closer and it’s not aggressive at all. It walks right up to the guitar and starts sniffing it. At one point the tiger presses its nose right against the neck of the guitar while the music is still going. Just sitting there, nose on the guitar, listening.
After that the tiger walks a few steps and curls up in the grass right at the musician’s feet. There’s someone else nearby filming the whole thing and the tiger just completely ignores them. It lays there in the sun occasionally glancing toward the camera like it has nowhere else to be.
‘Tears in Heaven’ was written by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings in 1992 after Clapton lost his young son. It’s a song about grief and love and the hope of seeing someone again on the other side.
