Inspired by Psalm 62 and other Scriptural truth, this is a song about God– Who He is– Sovereign, powerful, majestic– all those great and mighty things we would easily expect of the King and Creator of the universe.
Yet, at the same time, He is LOVING, INTIMATE, and GOOD. Yeah, it’s hard to wrap our heads around the reality that someone so big and powerful, “at the top”, would want to spend time with us, relate with us, and delight in our company– but it’s true! That’s why we can TRUST Him– He’s not only in control, He uses that control to care for us in the best way possible. Listen, worship along, and rejoice in Who HE IS! 🙂
