A teen’s whole life came crashing down day when she felt like what seemed her brain had burst. She had suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm and was desperately in need of a miracle.

Mionna Johnson was living a dream life with her parents but then the unthinkable happened when one moment she was sitting with her mother and the next she fell on the floor due to an aneurysm.

“We were in the living room just singing and dancing to her favorite K-Pop group BTS. And she just fell to the floor,” said her mother, Tiffany Johnson.

Tiffany was shocked and puzzled as her darling daughter went from being perfectly healthy and dancing, to near death. She immediately called 9-1-1 and started praying to God for healing for Mionna.

Mionna was admitted to the ICU and Doctors said that she had suffered a brain aneurysm and would not survive. She was an honor roll student who spoke three languages, and at one point her medical team gave up hope that she would survive, but her mom chose not to believe them.

Tiffany wanted her daughter to be airlifted to the nearest Children’s hospital which the team finally relented to after warning her that Mionna wouldn’t survive it. Tiffany would have to leave her daughter’s side for the first time and left her daughter alone to get baptized. She said, “I truly believe that I heard from God to do that in the first place. I knew that the doctors could only take us so far. And then I had to have, you know, I had to have my faith,” Tiffany said.

“Beaumont said that she could deteriorate in the air. So, I drove from Westland to Detroit, doing about 100 miles trying to rush there before the helicopter got there. I knew I wouldn’t make it, but I wanted to see if she would still be alive,” her mom said. Every second of that drive felt like an eternity. “It was horrible. It was horrible because I didn’t know she was. I didn’t know she was going to be alive. You know, and it was worst,” she added.

Bu the time Tiffany got to the Children’s Hospital, Mionna was barely alive and doctors rushed her into surgery. Tiffany was told that her daughter may never regain consciousness and if she did, she would be paralyzed from the neck down and wouldn’t be able to breathe on her own.

But praise God that amazing things happened to this mother and daughter, Mionna woke up and has since spent the next 117 days on making a full recovery.

JAMES 5:14–15 “Is any sick among you? [Among who? Among those in the Church.] let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”
