American Idol Contestant Blows Judges Away With Cover Of Lauren Daigle’s ‘You Say’

American Idol contestant Ryan Hammond performs moving cover of ‘You Say’ by Lauren Daigle.

This Grammy award winning song has touched hearts all over the world and is even being sung by secular music artists the world over.

“I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?
Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know”

Clearly the judges were moved by Ryan Hammond’s efforts as he chose this song to perform in Hawaii for them.

Judge Luke Byyan liked the performance so much that he remarked, “You can elevate a room with just the power of your voice.”

Verse of the Day

“[Christ’s Birth Announced to Mary] Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!””
