A group of dance students proved you’re never too old to move with a beautiful routine to the song ‘Thank God I’m Old.’

God gives us gifts at every stage of life. He invites us to use them no matter our age.
The students from Central Scotland Ballet School came together to perform something special. The school is a family run dance school that offers classes to children and young people of all ages and abilities in community venues across Central Scotland.
For this routine, members ages 30 to 70 from the improver and experienced level classes joined together. They started their dance using walkers and performed different moves with them.
Then they left the walkers behind and danced in full rhythm. Their energy and skill were amazing to watch.
The video spread quickly online. People loved what they saw.
One viewer wrote, “Oh I would LOVE to watch more of these beautiful ‘older’ ladies. Why oh why can’t more diverse sizes, ages and all else, perform on stage? This was so uplifting to see.”
Another person said, “Bless you for doing this good work. the walker idea has actually got some great possibilties.”
These dancers show us something important. God doesn’t retire us when we reach a certain age. He keeps working through us.
Our gifts don’t disappear as years pass. They grow richer with experience and wisdom.
If you feel too old to try something new or continue what you love, think of these dancers. They chose joy over excuses. They chose movement over sitting still.
Let their example encourage you today.
