A heartwarming video of a toddler bike ride with dad has gone viral for the sweetest reason.

In the video a loving father named Oladimeji Ajegbile takes his two year old son Ire out for a ride. The little boy sits right up front in a special child seat mounted on the bicycle so he gets a great view of everything as they pedal through different places.
Ire is an incredibly observant child and he just cannot hide his excitement as they ride around together. He constantly calls out to his dad to share every single detail he notices along the way.
At one point the cute toddler turns and sweetly says “Daddy?” When his father replies the little boy points up and says “Birds are singing.” Later on the boy lets out a loud “Weeee” as the wind blows against his face. When his dad asks “Yes?” the boy just keeps going with more joyful sounds. He points at everything he sees including “my truck” and “daddy car” and even points out “daddy water” and a “daddy aeroplane” up in the sky. He even announces “daddy it’s a bridge” as they cross over one.
My favorite part of the clip happens when the boy turns back with a special request. He looks at his father and says “I want baby bicycle..” Instead of brushing him off or ignoring him Oladimeji stops the bike ride right away. He looks down at his little boy with so much love, smiles, and gently kisses him right on his helmet before saying okay. That simple act of tenderness really touched my heart.
Our children are truly one of the greatest joys God has given us. Amid our busy schedules, we barely find time to sit down and listen to them, play around, or just take a simple walk outside together. But what we miss today are precious times that we will never get back.
Our kids grow up so fast and their interests change before we even realize it. Today they long for our attention and our presence, but tomorrow we might be the ones waiting for a chance to have a little talk with them. So like what this dad did, cherish every moment with your kids. These simple moments we create with them now are what will shape them into good people and loving parents one day.
“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.” Psalm 127:3 (NKJV)
