A hilarious video shows a little boy trying to trick his mom with some quick ‘instant naps’ so he can go outside and play.
We all know how children can make us laugh with their clever plans. Their honest hearts and bright minds show us the simple joys God places in our daily lives.
I smile when I think about how this boy came up with such a creative way to get what he wanted. Don’t we all try to find shortcuts sometimes?
The video shows the mom offering her son a fair deal. Take a nap first, then he can play outside. The boy doesn’t like this plan at all.
Instead of actually napping, he barely leans his head toward a pillow. He makes loud sleeping noises but doesn’t even close his eyes during his fake “nap.”
When this first trick doesn’t work, he tries the exact same move again.
“Perfect!” he says with total confidence after his second attempt. His mom still isn’t buying it though.
