William Maillis is a born genius, he started to speak in full sentences when he was only a few months old. The Pennsylvania native, proved himself to be different from his peers at every stage of life.

At the age of 21 months, he understood addition and solved multiplication problems by the age of 2, and was reading children’s books at the same age too. He even wrote his own nine-page short story called “Happy Cat”.

The genius learned Greek at age 4, and solved algebra problems, and studied sign language too. By the age of 5, he read a geometry textbook over 200 pages in just one night and started solving circumference problems at the same age too.

William graduated high school at age 9, in May 2016 and enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University in the fall of 2017. He was raised as a Christian by his mother and father. His father, Peter Maillis, is a Greek Orthodox priest and William aspires to be an astrophysicist and use science to further his faith.

William aims to disrupt the scientific world by disproving some of the theories of Albert Einstein and William Hawking by using science to prove God exists.

Stephen Hawking once said, “Before we understood science, it was natural to believe that God created the universe, but now science offers a more convincing explanation.”

“I want to be an astrophysicist so that I can prove to the scientific world that God does exist,” William shared.

William says, “There’s these atheists that try to say that there is no God when in reality it takes more faith to believe that there’s no God than it does to believe that there is a God… Because it makes more sense that something created the universe than that the universe created itself. It takes more faith to say the universe created itself than to say something other created the universe because that is more logical.”

William is truly blessed to acknowledge that his intelligence comes from God and that he wants to use those gifts to honor Him. “Everybody has gifts from God. I was gifted with knowledge and science and history,” William said.

Apart from being a genius, William’s parents say he is just a “normal” kid. He likes video games, sporting events, technology, and television shows.

God has raised up children to put to shame intellectuals because from the mouth of babes the whole world will hear the truth that there is a God above and that He is the sole creator of everything. Amen!
