Young Boy Preaches Gospel at Walmart, and His Powerful Words Touch Hearts

A young boy boldly shared the gospel inside a busy Walmart checkout line on a Sunday night. His simple message of faith caught shoppers completely off guard and moved people to tears.

In a noisy department store with register carts clinking and people rushing to get home, this brave kid stopped everyone in their tracks. He spoke right out loud to the crowd and said, “as you’re paying the price for your groceries that Jesus paid the price on the cross for your sins.”

Most youngsters his age are glued to their phones or running around causing trouble in the aisles, but this child had a much bigger purpose on his mind.

He did not stumble over his words or look scared at all. He just spoke from his sweet heart with pure love and wished everyone a blessed Sunday night before wishing them well on their way.

I found myself smiling from ear to ear just watching the video. It gives me so much hope for the next generation when the news usually shows us so much bad stuff happening everywhere. God is clearly working through our youth to spread his word in places where people least expect it.

You do not need a fancy church building or a big sermon to share the gospel with others. This young man spoke only a few words, but they carried such a powerful truth that reached right into people’s lives.

Let us be more bold and faithful in sharing the gospel wherever we are, whether we are standing in line or visiting a neighbor. This young boy’s simple public witness was such a sweet blessing to my soul today and I know it touched many hearts in that store.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” Romans 1:16 (NKJV)
