The touching video shows released Israeli hostages reuniting with their loved ones following a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
During the Hamas attack on October 7, over 200 Israelis were taken hostage. This event sadly led to the loss of more than 1,200 Israeli lives. Now, as part of the ceasefire, 58 hostages have been released, with many still in hospitals recovering from their ordeal.
Among the released is Emily Hand, a 9-year-old with Irish and Israeli citizenship, who was held hostage for 50 days. Her reunion with her sister and father touched many hearts.
As we witness these heartwarming moments, let us pray for the people of Israel and for lasting peace in the region.
