News Anchor Struggles to Pronounce One Word on Live TV and Leaves Viewers Laughing

A news anchor went viral after struggling for nearly two minutes on live TV unable to pronounce one single word.

It doesn’t matter if you are a native English speaker or completely fluent in the language. Some words just refuse to come out right. We hardly make it through without a second try or even more. For Reg Chapman that moment happened in front of an entire viewing audience and it was caught on camera.

He was trying to introduce a weather segment and the word “meteorological” stopped him cold. He broke it apart every way he could think of. “Meteor-o-logical.” “Meteor-logical.”

At one point he compared part of it to an Irish last name. He even turned to meteorologist Adam Del Rosso mid-segment and asked if there was another word he could use instead. There wasn’t. So he kept going.

Every attempt ended the same way. With laughter. His own laughter. He could not hold it together and neither could anyone watching. He finally got it right near the end of the clip but even that didn’t last.

The moment he tried to move on with the broadcast he cracked up all over again.

And how it spread to the viewers makes the story even more hilarious. Someone wrote “I used to be able to say it. Then I watched HIM and now I can’t say it anymore.” Another person said “The longer I watch this the more I’m starting to struggle to say it.” Can you still say it without stumbling?
