Ireland’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer Winner Barry D’Arcy Performs ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’

It was awesome to see Golden buzzer winner Barry D’Arcy return to Ireland’s Got Talent stage with ‘Wind Beneath My Wings.’

We all remember Barry’s backstory and incredible voice as he almost lost mobility in his legs due to a herniated disc.

He had spoken earlier about how one day he woke up from bed and fell flat on the floor as he did not have control of his legs.

“I was paralyzed from the waist down. They gave me a fifty-fifty chance of ever walking again, and I took it.”

He overcame all circumstances and took part in Ireland’s Got Talent. He had impressed the judges and audience with the Elvis Presley song ‘The Wonder of You.’

Judge Louis was so impressed with the performance that he pressed the golden buzzer, sending Barry straight through to the next round.

Now, Barry has come back for a semi-final performance of the Bette Midler classic ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ watch as he sings with all his heart.

Verse of the Day

He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. — Isaiah 53:3-4 (NIV)
