In today’s world we have become so dependent on the power of medical science, that prayer and faith has taken a back seat for most people.
But, this story is a remarkable one, because doctors are puzzling over this man’s suspected malignant brain tumor suddenly disappeared without surgery.
Paul Wood from Lodi, California first met his doctor some months ago when he began headaches and experiencing trouble walking without assistance.
He then was sent to a neurosurgeon at UC San Francisco, where the doctors suspected that he had a brain bleed – but scans then revealed he had signs of a brain tumor.
Wood did not accept the diagnosis, but instead turned to his faith and community.
He attends Gravity Church, and received a lot of support and prayers from his fellow church goers and local acquaintances.
On the day before his surgery, doctors were astonished to find that the suspected tumor had vanished.
“We do tests and we have medical technology and we try to come up with some conclusion. We’re like detectives – [but] sometimes things happen that we can’t explain,” Dr. Richard Yee said.
Now that the surgery has been cancelled, Wood says that “it’s a miracle and that is the way God planned it.”
This is nothing but divine intervention and it is the healing hand of God that is the reason behind the disappearance of the tumor. Praise God!
