It was a narrow escape for a couple pushing a stroller who were almost hit by a driver jumping the red light.
Father, mother and a one-year-old son in a stroller, were crossing the road in Phoenix, Arizona, when an SUV came dangerously close to hitting them.
But just then a woman who was waiting to take the turn in her Chevy Cruz drove in between the family and the SUV and saved their lives.
The 27-year-old driver of the Chevy Cruz is being hailed as a ‘hero.’ She is being treated for some minor injuries, but none are life threatening.
The authorities found that the rogue driver was under the influence of alcohol and has been arrested on DUI charges and aggravated assault.
