Two San Diego homeowners watched their Ring doorbell footage in terror when they spotted an intruder breaking in just as their plane was preparing for takeoff. But their dog’s response is what everyone is talking about online.
This young couple was flying home when their phone buzzed with a security alert. They watched helplessly as a fifty-seven-year-old man used a ladder to climb right into the open second-story window of their house.
The intruder made himself right at home. He took off his shoes and shirt and raided their fridge for yogurt and turkey before deciding to take a long nap.
Their dog Nash is a big ninety-pound golden retriever but he completely misunderstood his security assignment. While the terrified couple texted the police, Nash wanted to play with the stranger. He kept bringing his favorite toys to the stranger, thinking he’d made a new friend.
When police officers rushed inside with a drone a few minutes later Nash happily greeted them at the door with another toy in his mouth. The incident went viral for the dog’s response and people have so much love for this precious golden retriever.
The burglar tried to escape out a bathroom window but cops caught him right in the backyard. The owners later told reporters that they just hope the man gets the help he needs.
We are hoping the same. We do not know what situation he is going through. Although he committed a crime, may he receive a second chance at life to repent for his mistakes and find salvation in Jesus Christ.
