Too often, the real meaning of Easter is overshadowed by a bunny that brings candy to kids. And though this interview with the Easter Bunny is humorous, it’s an important reminder to us all: Jesus is the real reason for the season, and His sacrifice on the cross should always be remembered.
We should always remember that He died for our sins—and He lives forever. We don’t need a special occasion or day to celebrate this truth. We owe every second of our lives to Jesus.
We could have died because of our sins, but because of His great mercy, we are forgiven and have been given the gift of everlasting life with Him.
