Sometimes a song catches you completely off guard while you’re just scrolling through the internet. That is exactly what happens when you hear the sibling trio Life in 3D sing their version of a 1971 classic.

If you don’t know them yet the group is made up of Daylon, Daura and Devon Veater. They are a homeschooled sibling trio from Phoenix Arizona who actually started harmonizing just to make household chores less boring.
What began with washing the dishes turned into Life in 3D and they have racked up over 200 million views since they got their first microphone in 2021. Their voices blend together in that way only siblings seem to manage.
For this video they chose to sing “If” which was written by David Gates for the band Bread. It is a track about deep unwavering commitment and the kind of love that stays when everything else falls apart.
As soon as Daura started singing, her deep, clear and powerful voice kept me glued to the screen. When Daylon joined her in harmony, they took me right into that classic song. I was thinking how blessed these siblings are with their gifts and their bond.
The Bible tells us that love never fails. First Corinthians makes it clear that love bears all things and endures all things. We live in a world where people leave when things get hard and we get tired and give up. But Jesus showed us a love that stays until the very end and He asks us to love others the exact same way. We need to stop taking our time together for granted and actually commit to being there for each other.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” John 13:34
