A young boy bursts into tears of joy when his mother surprises him with the puppy he’s wished for so long.
This tender moment captured on video shows a little boy coming home from school completely oblivious to what his mom planned for him. He sits down on the grey couch next to his little sister who is just as happy as can be.
When his mother walks in holding that tiny Dachshund pup, the poor boy just loses it in the sweetest way. He drops his jaw, buries his face right into his hands, and cries tears of pure happiness.
My own heart just swelled up watching him because you can tell how badly he wanted a pup. The tiny dog immediately walks over and starts licking his cheek to comfort him while his sister bounces up and down cheering for the new pet.
When he finally pulls that tiny dog close against his chest he is still sobbing with gratitude.
Sometimes kids teach us things that we adults never think about. Look at how thankful this young boy was for his mom’s gift. We often forget to slow down and appreciate the simple blessings God places right in front of us every day.
