A four-year-old girl walked up to a street musician in Central Park and asked him to play an Elvis classic and what happened next left an entire tunnel full of strangers completely speechless.

Angelica Nero was standing in one of those beautiful stone-arched tunnels in Central Park. Red beanie on her head, jacket way too big for her little body. And next to her was an older man sitting in a folding chair holding a traditional string instrument.
She looked like any other kid out for a walk with her family. But she wasn’t just passing through. She walked right up to him and asked him to play ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ by Elvis Presley. And he did.
As soon as those first notes started floating through the tunnel she opened her mouth and began to sing. And her beautiful voice filled that place. People who were walking through started slowing down. Then they stopped completely.
A crowd formed in a big circle around her and the musician. Phones came out everywhere. You could see faces going from curiosity to straight up amazement. Some people were covering their mouths because they just could not believe what they were hearing from this tiny girl.
At one point the musician actually stopped playing to clip a small lapel microphone onto her jacket so her voice would carry better. She just stood there and waited. Then she jumped right back into the song like nothing happened.
When she finished the whole tunnel broke out in cheers and applause. She gave this shy little smile but you could tell she was proud too. And honestly she should be. That moment turned a regular afternoon in Central Park into something nobody there is going to forget.
