Man Serenades 86-Year-Old Mother-In-Law With Alzheimer’s With Sweet Rendition Of ‘I Love You Because’

Music is being used as a therapy tool for those with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Research has proven that listening to or singing songs helps relieve stress, anxiety and agitation.

A British man from Doncaster in England, has shared a video of how music has made a difference in the life of his 86-year-old mother-in-law.

He arrived at his mother-in-law’s house on a Sunday to take her to church, but as she did not remember what day it was, they went for lunch instead. As she came to the door, the caring son-in-law decided to make her day bright by singing, “I Love You Because.”

The 86-year-old’s lady’s face lit up and she joined him singing the chorus. “But most of all I love you ’cause you’re you,” the two belted out together, clearly enjoying themselves. The heartwarming clip has been shared online by him and has become viral in not time.
