Celebrity Asked Him to Explain God and His Answer Left Everyone Speechless

A comedian found himself on the spot when a famous celebrity asked him to explain God and what he said next was surprisingly simple and completely unforgettable.

We all get that question at some point. Maybe not from a celebrity but from a friend, a coworker, someone sitting next to us who is genuinely curious. And most of us freeze up.

Michael Jr. didn’t freeze. When a well-known celebrity, whose name he kept to himself, looked at him and said “explain God to me” he was ready. He even laughed at the idea of fully explaining God. “If I could completely explain God, he wouldn’t be God, it would be me,” he said. And honestly that line alone is worth stopping on.

So he went with something everyone knows. A GPS.

“God is like a navigation device in your car,” Michael said. When you miss a turn the GPS doesn’t shut off. It doesn’t say you blew it. It recalculates and keeps going. God does the same thing. He doesn’t walk away when we mess up. He finds us a new route to where we are supposed to be.

But Michael didn’t stop there. He added something we need to hear. “If you keep making the wrong turns the road conditions may be different and you’re running out of time.” So yes God is patient but our wrong choices still have consequences. The detours still cost us something.

The answer is to stay sensitive to that voice. “You have to be sensitive to listen to that voice so you can make the right choice about where you’re supposed to be,” he said.

The Bible says “Seek the Lord while He may be found.” That means there is a right time and we are living in it right now. God hasn’t given up on you but time doesn’t wait. So seek Him today while you still can.
