The talented voicetramentalist acted in “Gremlins” and “Spaceballs” before he retired to bring up his kids after his wife died. Now after his kids are grown up, he is trying to make a comeback to the industry through “America’s Got Talent.”

“I used to be the man of 10,000 sound effects, but we’re into the hundreds of thousands now,” Winslow tells host Terry Crews before he took the stage. Winslow responds, “I always did this and this is just a part of me. I’ve been making sounds since I was a kid.”

As Winslow walked onto the stage, judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara immediately recognize Winslow and after a quick round of introductions, he starts his performance.

He begins by explaining how his sound effects started as he grew up as an “Air Force brat,” where his family had to move every 2-3 years. “So that meant I had to make up my own friends, my own movies, my own soundtrack, my own soundscape,” he says.

He offloads an entire routine of sound effects like airplane noises, radio static, and popular songs which earns him a standing ovation from judges and audiences.
