12-Year-Old Girl Pays It Forward By Playing Music For NICU Babies At Same Hospital Where She Was Born

A baby who was born prematurely at a Children’s hospital and had to spend the first few months of her life in the neonatal intensive care unit decided it was payback time.

Isabella Ciriello, is now 12, and has returned to same neonatal intensive care unit at New York-Presbyterian Komansky Children’s Hospital where she was born 16 weeks early in 2006.

She returned there to pay it forward and give back a gift she had received years ago, she played classical music for the patients on her guitar. Years ago, it was Isabella’s doctor who had played music for her as it helps soothes preemies.

Verse of the Day

“[Obedience by Faith] If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.”

1 John 4:20-21
