America’s Got Talent introduced us to breakout star ‘Nightbirde’ Jane Marczewski who won the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell for singing an original song, but sadly she has now left the competition due to health reasons.
The Zanesville, Ohio singer who goes by the stage name Nightbirde, shared the news on Instagram in a post published Monday morning. “Since my audition,” she wrote, “my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all of my energy and attention.”
“I am so sad to announce that I won’t be able to continue forward on this season of ‘AGT.’ Life doesn’t always give breaks to those that deserve it — but we knew that already.”
“I’m planning my future, not my legacy,” the 30-year-old singer added. “Pretty beat up, but I’ve still got dreams.”

During her audition in June, Marczewski informed the judges that she had cancer in her lungs, spine, and liver.
The Christian entertainer said she’s not defined by her diagnosis. “It’s important that everyone knows I’m so much more than the bad things that happen to me,” she said at the time, later adding, “You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy.”
We pray to the Lord to heal Marczewski completely and to deliver her from this tough battle. She has so much to offer the world through her music and we believe she will be back soon.
Praying God’s grace, comfort, strength and will for you. You have touched my life and I am thankful for that. Thank you ! John 3:16
Sending you lots of prayers you are such a beautiful person
Simon Cowell said “she’s going through all that, and yet she’s so strong”!
Thank You Jane for singing light into this dark world! Praise the Lord that you understand and Know Him, personally as your God and Savior. As the Apostle Paul said “Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
Simon, that’s why she can sing “It’s Ok” because she has the strength of the Lord and knows her eternal destiny is secure. Jane, Thank you for being an inspiration to us all. Your brothers and sisters “in Christ” will continue to lift you up to the throne of Grace during your time of need.
Prayers are with you for complete healing. You have such an amazing talent that needs to be shared with the world. God, please heal this young woman. In Jesus name, AMEN.
