Three older men went viral after a video showed them roller skating like pros at an indoor rink.
The video has a caption that says “It’s like they were 12 again” and honestly that says it perfectly. They were not wearing skating gear or anything fancy. Just button-up shirts and slacks.
They were skating on classic quad roller skates with four wheels on the corners, the kind most of us grew up with. They started out skating side by side looking completely steady and relaxed and then one by one their moves came out.
It was clear that age had not taken their child-like joy. Other people were skating around them but these three were clearly the ones everyone was watching.
We all have gifts and skills that God placed in us and they do not just disappear with age. These men proved that. So whatever you loved doing years ago, do not count yourself out. You might still have more in you than you think.
