During these times of self isolation and crisis caused by the novel coronavirus, the words of this song instantly make you feel refreshed and uplifted.

Oh, what He’s done for me.
Oh, what He’s done for me.
Oh, what He’s done for me.
I never shall forget what He’s done for me.

The original song was sung by Lisa Knowles and the Brown Singers. The female gospel quartet, Brown Singers were formed in Memphis, Tennessee in the 70s by Willie Mae Richmond. His granddaughter, Lisa Knowles, joined the group at the age of nine in the fifth grade, and by age 12, she became the lead singer and went on to sing a number of gospel songs including ‘What He’s Done For Me.’

He took my feet out the miry clay,
That’s what He’s done for me.
He took my feet out the miry clay,
I never shall forget what He’s done for me.

Today as Korean Soul sings a beautiful version of the song, we are reminded of all the mercies of the Lord upon our lives and how good He has been to us. Amen!

Verse of the Day

“[On Not Loving the World] Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.”

1 John 2:15-16
