On September 1, Gale received the big news she’d been waiting for: her 6-year-old son Mason is officially cancer free. On the same day, the family got the tickets to a concert in Calgary. Mason was unable to attend the show, so his mom Gale took a cardboard sign to spread the good news in front of the country singer, Garth Brooks. This mom didn’t think the day could get any happier, but then Garth Brooks stopped the concert and talked with Gale, and then surprised her with a beautiful gift.
