Two street performers step onto a giant floor piano to tackle Queen’s legendary hit Bohemian Rhapsody using only their feet. Their incredible talent amazed thousands of people online.

The group behind this display is called Il Grande Piano. They are a creative performance art team from Italy inspired by the famous piano scene in the 1988 hit movie Big. Instead of using hands on small ivory keys they built a massive custom keyboard measuring nearly 26 feet long. The artists dance step and leap across the oversized board so their precise foot taps strike each musical note.
Over the years they have gained huge international attention playing at the Dubai Dance Festival and appearing on major Italian television shows. Their outdoor street videos have gathered well over 120 million views online bringing genuine joy to families all across the world.
Choosing to perform Bohemian Rhapsody on a foot keyboard is no easy task. Written by Freddie Mercury and released by the iconic British rock band Queen in 1975 this classic song is famous for its dramatic style changes. It moves from a quiet piano ballad into grand operatic parts and then heavy rock sections. Recreating those intricate vocal melodies and fast rhythms without a standard piano requires intense focus and remarkable physical effort.
When you watch this performance you cannot help but smile. Seeing two dancers sprint back and forth to hit the high notes at just the right second made my heart jump with excitement. You can tell their legs must be aching after practicing for many hours yet they make every leap look completely effortless.
