Mom Prays For Her Autistic Son’s Life, God Sent A Stranger To Save Him

Martie Weeks, her three sons and some friends were floating down the Red River in Clarksville, Tenn , when they came across a fallen tree that caused a powerful tide, knocking her 17-year-old autistic son, Ronnie Harris, over. The mom tried to paddle to her son, who was struggling to keep his head above the water. She saw her son slowly stopped struggling and ended up face down in the river.

The heartbroken mom started praying for her son ‘God please don’t take this child from me, please, somebody hear me,’. God answered her prayers, sending U.S. Army staff sergeant Timothy Hansen to the scene. He dove into the river and rushed to save her son’s life. He picked him up, and gave chest compressions until he started breathing again. Thanks to the Good Samaritan and the faith of the mom. Thank You Lord!

Verse of the Day

“[God the Sovereign Savior] To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord, who spoke to the Lord the words of this song on the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said: I will love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Psalm 18:1-2
