This digital health agency from Toronto is indeed exceptional. It gave $100 to every employee to bless others and #SpreadJoy this Christmas season.
Klick Health was extra generous and wanted its employees not only to receive blessings but, to experience the joy of giving as well. “We really didn’t give people a lot of direction, and the direction was, here’s a $100 bill. Give it away. Spread joy,” Rich Levy, Klick Health’s Chief Creative Officer, told Fox News.
They gave every employee a box with a winter scarf and a card with a $100 bill inside. Inside the card was a message which said, “a simple act of kindness can inspire many more.” They needed to give these holiday cards to impact others’ lives. They were also encouraged to think of ways to hand them out creatively.
To document these acts of kindness, they need to record every encounter. Lo and behold! Klick Health received 1,700 heart-melting video clips.
Some of them got extra creative! One made a paper bouquet, made the $100 as one of its flowers, and gave it to a random Asian elderly couple. Another gave it to their company’s janitor, who was in tears and so surprised when she received it. Someone gave it to a teen street performer who’s saving money for his first album. A man who greatly appreciated the police force brought pizzas for the officers.
Their only mission was to #SpreadJoy, and obviously, Klick Health and its employees accomplished this. Each did not only spread joy and kindness to others, but they also received so much joy and love as they became channels of blessings. May spreading joy and love be a norm for us, not only this Christmas season but throughout the year.
