A father and his young children lift their voices to sing a moving rendition of Kirk Franklin’s “My Life Is In Your Hands.”
We’ve all had those heavy days when everything feels like too much. I was watching this video of the Larsons singing, and their simple cover of Kirk Franklin’s “My Life Is In Your Hands” just stopped me right in my tracks.
The Larsons are a gospel singing family who share these beautiful moments of worship online. They don’t need a massive stage to touch hearts. They share living room videos of their family praising God with their gifted voices. My heart fills with joy as I see them singing together.
The song itself is a masterpiece. “My Life Is In Your Hands” was written by the incredibly talented Kirk Franklin and was released way back in 1997 with God’s Property. It is a song that has carried so many of us through hard times.
The message of the song is simple, but it is everything we need to hear when we are struggling. No matter what we face, Jesus is right there. We don’t have to be afraid because our lives are safe in His hands. It is a promise we can hold onto.
When I listened to them sing, I was just so moved by the pure harmony of their voices. When a family comes together for God, that’s a blessing for them as well as the people who watch them.
Like this beautiful family, may our homes become sanctuaries of peace and worship. I truly appreciate this father for encouraging his kids to use their talents and energy for God.
