A woman named Jenny Tolman shared a powerful testimony about how she literally felt God’s healing touch while singing worship song after doctors found an alarming mass on her pancreas.
It only takes one phone call to turn everything upside down. Our plans for tomorrow, our dreams, our family, our children. It can all feel like it’s slipping away just like that.
But we have a loving God who will not leave us or forsake us, whatever comes our way. When we trust Him and praise Him even in our deepest sorrows, we get to see His hand move. Jenny’s testimony is proof of that.
It started during an ice storm when Jenny had a gallbladder attack. She went to the doctor the next day, got blood work done, and had an ultrasound scheduled.
During the ultrasound, the tech was scanning around her abdomen. When she pressed under Jenny’s left rib cage, it hurt. “Oh, that hurt,” Jenny said. The tech gave a quiet “Hm” but couldn’t say anything more. She’s not allowed to.
Then a few days passed. Her doctor finally called. “Jenny, I’m so sorry that it’s taken me a few days to get back to you. I wanted to talk to the radiologist before I called you because your ultrasound results are very alarming,” he said. The radiologist had found a mass on her pancreas. She would need a CT scan.
Jenny panicked. She’s got a three-year-old, Bear. “I can’t… like nothing can happen to me. I have plans. I have other plans that does not involve something like this,” she said. Any parent would feel that same terror.
But here’s where things shift.
Before the scan, her babysitter anointed the area with oil and prayed over her. On the drive there, a friend prayed with her over the phone.

“Did I feel the hand of God take that out of my body?” Jenny said. “Through the good and the bad. Praise him and he is there. Call on him and he will come. He loves you. Just talk to him. It’s really that simple. Took me a long time to figure that out and I’m still figuring it out.”
